Delete your account
You can delete your Poemia account yourself, at any time, from inside the app.
From the app
- Open Poemia and go to your profile.
- Open settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. You will be asked why you are leaving — answering is optional.
What happens to your data
Your profile stops being visible to other people immediately. Your profile, photos, and Poemia data are removed from the app.
Some records are retained for a limited period where we are legally required to keep them — for example, transaction records for tax and accounting purposes, and records related to safety reports. These are not used to rebuild your profile.
Deletion is permanent. Your account cannot be restored afterwards, and purchases and subscriptions do not carry over to a new account.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — Apple and Google manage those, and they will keep billing until cancelled. Cancel in your store account first, then delete.
If you cannot open the app
Write to us from the email address on the account and ask for deletion. We may need to confirm that the account is yours before we act on the request.
